Thank you for visiting our web page. I am Alan Sorrells and am pastor of Fellowship Independent Baptist Church. I was saved in August of 1973 at the West Parker Road Baptist Church in Greenville, South Carolina and was called to preach in 1989. I am married to Debbie, my wife of almost thirty one years. We have two children, Justin and Rebecca, that are both in college and still live at home. I believe that God has preserved His inerrant infallible Word in the King James Version of the Bible. I use it exclusively and my church uses it exclusively. We reject all of the modern English versions. God has kept His promise to preserve His word to every generation.  I have a burden for the lost to be saved. Many today has accepted the lie that church membership and water baptism can save them. Many today have never heard the simple gospel of Christ. My burden is for men to hear what God has said about eternal life. Jesus said "ye must be born again". I preach that men might repent of their sins and believe on the name of the only begotten Son of God. I have been placed into the ministry for the perfecting of the saints, Ephesians 4:12. I have a burden for God's children to live pure separated lives. God's Word sends out a call for His people to come out of the world and separate themselves unto Him. I preach so that the saved will hear and obey the Word of God! I preach Christ crucified, risen and coming again!   Pastor Alan Sorrells
